Rental Requirements and Policies:
- License Requirements: A valid U.S., State, or International driver’s license is mandatory.
- Age Limit: Renters must be at least 25 years old to enjoy our Slingshot adventures.
- Proficiency: Demonstrating adequate riding skills is essential for renting our Slingshots.
- Authorized Operation: Only authorized renters under your agreement are allowed to operate the rental Slingshot.
- Refundable Deposit: A refundable deposit of $500 is required upon rental and will be returned upon vehicle return.
- Reservation Policy: All rentals are by reservation only, either online or via phone. Reservations cannot override prior bookings.
Additionally, we have a few rules in place to ensure a fantastic and safe experience:
- Safety First: Enjoy the Slingshot experience safely and responsibly. Be mindful and caring while having fun.
- Rule #1: We strictly prohibit burnouts or donuts. Any evidence of such actions may result in a new tire charge, assessed based on tire wear.
Autocycle Rental Guidelines:
- Freedom to Choose: Riders have the freedom to chart their own course, although we offer helpful route suggestions for an enjoyable journey.
- Vehicle Condition: Ensure the Slingshot is returned in the same condition, including a full tank of gas.
- Minimum Age: The minimum age requirement for both renting and driving is 25+.
- Ride Time: Your rental period begins at the chosen start time, so maximize every thrilling moment.
- Responsibility for Damages: Riders assume full responsibility for any damages incurred during the rental period.
- Insurance Coverage: A $40 insurance fee covers damages and accidents, ensuring peace of mind on the road.
- Safety Regulations: For safety purposes, off-roading is strictly prohibited for the well-being of both riders and the vehicle.
- Driving Conduct: Strictly no doughnuts or drag racing allowed. Tire tread is monitored before and after rental for compliance.

Understanding the license classifications for the Polaris Slingshot® is crucial for a seamless rental experience. In the city of Punta Cana, the Polaris Slingshot® falls under the autocycle category, requiring only a valid state driver’s license for rental. No motorcycle endorsement is necessary.
